1 London Shrunk
The dry cloth to be shrunk is folded between an upper and lower layer of wet cloth. The cloth is then dried naturally, and afterwards pressed by cold hydraulic power. Different finishers vary their mode of processing in order to get a soft handle with a duller appearance than the fabric has before treatment. The object is to shrink the cloth to the maximum amount possible so that there will be no shrinking in the garment. -
